That Afternoon (take two)

I don’t often redo drawings after the fact. Usually, once I’ve set down a final version (this may take a few tries) and uploaded it to share here, I call it done. But there’s been this one drawing I did a couple of years ago that has really been bugging me. I love the words, but the execution didn’t feel right. And so, I set about redoing it today. Here’s the new version—I hope you enjoy it!

“That Afternoon,” 5 x 7 inches, pen and ink, prints available in my shop here

Thanks Lauren! I’m so glad you liked this. I’ve loved the words for so long and was happy to give them a little new life in this re-draw. And I’m sad too to be leaving Davis, but I am looking forward to lots of new adventures in the Rockies!
