Happy Holidays and The Big Show

I’m really wondering what happened to this week! I mean, what happened to December!!?? I leave tomorrow to go visit my family in Colorado for the holiday, and I don’t quite know how this time arrived so soon!

I had intended to come and tell you how “the big show” (Renegade Holiday Craft Fair in San Francisco) went last weekend, but the week really slipped away from me. Honestly, I had been so busy getting ready for the show that I completely neglected to get ready for Christmas, and so I’ve spent the past two days frantically making gifts and tying up loose ends. But, here is a picture of me at the show with the amazing new displays that my husband engineered:

My display also involved a full table to my left (not in the picture) with a t-shirt rack and more little shelves, but I did not succeed in getting good pictures of the rest. Aren’t the gray cubes cool!? Thanks Mikes! The show was a lot of fun—so much traffic and I got to meet some great artists and makers and art lovers! I also got to make some cash and get some practice with an old-fashioned hand imprint credit card machine, as I accepted credit cards for the first time at this show.

Well, I just wanted to say hello and goodbye—I’ll be away in Colorado for a week. Also, HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I’m wishing you sky-fulls of peace and laughter!

The display looks wonderful–it really suits your work and makes a great abstract frame. I’m sorry I didn’t make it on Sunday to see it all in person (wasn’t feeling well). Have a great trip to Colorado!
