News and News and Lovely Links

Hello Hello Hello. I’ve been bopping around on the internet this week and working on a new creative project.

First, the new project—you may know that I am fond of little books, and I have a few in my mental works these days, but one has jumped ahead and been occupying my art table this week. It’s called In Every Smallest Place, and here’s a peek:

I’ve been having so much fun making this—cutting up the words made me feel giddy with delight. I haven’t done much collage in the past couple of years, so this was a great change for me. I’m hoping to finish the book in the next week or two. Stay tuned!

And for my online perusals:

1. Jenny Shih, a lovely life coach I follow, made this most spectacular video about being your own superhero self. You really need to watch it. I am so happy that this video exists in the world. Thank you Jenny for making it!

2. I am a proud member of a really awesome global team of makers on Etsy called The Artisan Gallery Team. I just did a post over on the Artisan Gallery Team Blog called The Art of Dabbling. In it, I talk about how important it is to dabble and try new things in order to sustain your creativity. Go on over and check it out! You will also be able to discover many many artists and crafters from around the world that are full of fabulosity! I swear. They are.

3. That mover and shaker Michelle Ward, the When I Grow Up coach, has kindly shared my post on finding a job that jives with your creative habit over on her blog. If you missed it here (or would like to reread it) you can find it over there. Thanks Michelle!

That’s all for now. Have a wonder-filled weekend!
