Hello Hello! It’s been some time since my last blog post—nearly one whole week—which I believe is the longest time I’ve ever been away from this blog without actually being away! It was good to take a little break—take that moment to relax, as I mentioned I was needing last week. Mainly, it felt good to take a break from regular producing (on the blog and at the drawing board) and focus on some longer term things—like organizing my studio space and getting to work on a new longer project that I’ve been thinking about.
To be honest, it was not really a “break” break—quite happily, my little art business is moving right along, so I have actual “business” to keep track of! This is very exciting to me! But by the end of the week, I started getting back to quite a bit of business as usual, which, like it or not, started to push me out of my pensive mood a little bit.
In my last post I was talking about wanting to find something ( a beginning, an ending, clarity?), but what I’m mainly finding is what I always find—everything is just one day at a time, keep moving forward, keep listening for the next step, and of course . . . keep looking at clouds!
Actually, this whole post is really just an excuse to share some clouds with you—we had some phenomenal clouds last week—clouds that made me nearly drive off the road trying to look up at them! Oh, clouds! They really make me feel the gigantic-ness and magnificence of this world. Perhaps I will be back in the next few days with something a bit more eloquent to say about my soul searching, but for now enjoy riding on a cloud! Happy May!
