The abstract triangle drawings keep coming! I started this drawing last week and then finally finished it this morning. Perhaps it is a picture of my brain at this moment?

“Tornado,” 8 x 10 inches, pen and ink, original available here in my shop.

Now I’m dreaming of doing a very large triangle drawing. I’m not sure when I will do it, but it seems like spectacular fun to fill a larger sheet of paper with triangles. I do love when dreams like this come along—they’re so pure and delightful and silly good fun. They have no connection to anything realistic or commonly valued. They just come from a little childlike place.

Do you have any little dreams like this that are just pure fun?

it’s so funny you do these triangle drawings — i remember spending hours as a child drawing connected triangles and diamonds. it was like meditation. of course, nothing i did was as intriguing and beautiful as yours!

These triangle pictures are so intricate! They remind me of beautiful wire sculptures. Glad they are making you happy! Don’t you love it when you make something that makes you excited about creating again?
