Windchime: poetry podcast #6

Hello! It’s Friday! Yay! And you know what that means . . . another poetry podcast for you!

Today I am reading a poem called “Windchime” by Tony Hoagland, from his volume What Narcissism Means to Me.
I also mention another poem in the podcast called “Man Carrying Sofa“.
You may also want to check out The Sun, a magazine I talked about that publishes all manner of beautiful written and photographed pieces.

Here’s something nice to look at while listening:

I love to save these podcasts up and listen to a few at a time while crafting and enjoying a quiet moment alone. Perfect. And I get to hear your voice, what more could I want?

I’m continually amazed at your insight and so so so happy that you are sharing these with us.

Such a sweet poem and I love Man Carrying Sofa too. I love the idea of a big piece of furniture carried inside you that you can put down and rest on. I feel like I’m carrying a sofa inside me at the moment but it never occurred to me to put my troubles down and rest on them. I needed that, thank you.

Gosh, I’m so glad that I discovered you. Just listened to the podcast and have a wonderful image of a woman trying to hang a windchime with the nail in her mouth and feet in boots. What fun that you are doing these!
    thank you!
