Rain or Shine

Despite all of us crafters crossing our fingers against the predicted bad weather, it rained and rained some more yesterday, but the Indie Sacramento show still went down as a success! It was a lot of fun to have an outdoor booth with canopy because it felt like having a little shop. The clothesline of prints got a lot of looks, so I will definitely continue doing that whenever I have the chance! One disclaimer about the top picture: the label on the green bin under my table is driving me mad, and I don’t know how I didn’t see it yesterday! Ah, you live and you learn! It would be best to have a longer table cloth.

Quite a lot of people turned out, despite the bad weather, and I sold the best I have since the Indie Sacramento Holiday Show last December. This was the last Indie Sacramento until next December because they decided that the monthly shows were just too much with the economy, so I’m glad it was a success!

I’m looking forward to my next show, Whole Earth Festival, on the UC Davis quad next weekend. I will be selling at a cooperative booth for the UC Davis Craft Center where I have taught photography and volunteered. I sold at this booth once before, but that was a couple of years ago, before Blue Bicicletta, so I will be interested to see how it goes with all of my current ducks in a row.
