Sketching

I recently got a new little sketchbook, and it has inspired me to start sketching from life more often. My backyard is completely overgrown with these crazy weeds. We are renting, and once the tree fills out, I think the weeds will die, so there’s little motivation to do anything except marvel at the thigh-high weeds. Here’s a sketch of my dog Lance laying smack in the middle of it all.

Some Thoughts

"That's the big question, the one the world throws at you every morning. 'Here you are, alive. Would you like to make a comment?'"
