Into Outer Space

Just taking another rocket trip today, this time to the moon:

“To the Moon,” 5 x 7 inches, pen and ink, available in my shop

I really enjoy drawing fantastical things like rockets because you can have so much fun with the lines and shapes. I think there is a bit of storybook fantasy too—rockets are the things that kids’ dreams are made of. It’s fun to take a trip back in time like that, and give myself and other “big kids” a chance to go to the moon again.

Some Thoughts

"That's the big question, the one the world throws at you every morning. 'Here you are, alive. Would you like to make a comment?'"
